- Laura Florence is the founder and owner of Florence Legal Services. Laura has always been involved in helping others through volunteer work. When she was younger, she would volunteer at local horse stables, taking care of the horses, and at the Guelph Human Society, helping care for the animals. In her adult life, Laura volunteered at the Homewood Health Care Center, in the gift shop as an attendant. Once becoming a licensed paralegal, Laura regularly volunteered at the YWCA. There, she would assist women in applying for Record Suspensions through the Parole Board of Canada, with the goal of obtaining a clean criminal record to assist the woman with employment opportunities.
- Prior to becoming a licensed paralegal, Laura was exclusively employed as a private investigator, and still holds her license in good standing. About a decade later, Laura enrolled in a Paralegal Education Program, where she graduated with Honours.
- As a paralegal, Laura has earned the reputation of a tenacious fighter who protects her client’s interests as though they were her own. Laura has handled numerous cases in her career covering a large variety of matters. Laura prides herself on the representation of her clients. She diligently prepares for every case, and as a result, she strives to achieve the desired result.
